Time and Space
Blurred temporalities, diasporic engagements.
The relation with memory and time is sometimes blurry. Dates and years are difficult to stablish, and contradictions towards it are not infrequent. As some entries in the map point out, most of the participants framed time in two to three periods of their life, normally coinciding with changes in housing or meeting of partners. This is the reason why the map is divided in two layers, corresponding to the two periods that the participants stablished about their own lives.
Space was different, since areas tended to be specially located, particularly those indoor spaces.
It was very frequent for participants not to live in London. I do not know how representative this is of the whole population of the groups, but the sessions of content analysis have not but confirmed this trend with other members of the community. When this fact was addressed with some participant, a chase for stability and tranquillity was behind this fact. However, this came not without a certain tension regarding identity. The belonging to communities of memory sharing can be seen as a form of canalization of those feelings.
